About Us

Background

Healthy living day stall

I have been a plant based caterer since 2015, and since then I have served my food at markets, music festivals, bazaars, vegan fairs, food fairs, pubs, cafés , vintage shops, raves, weddings, birthday parties, charity events, yoga retreats and my own house. I produce proper cooked meals, high vibrational raw food, street food, Buddha bowls, hot sauces, crackers, cakes, preserves, healthy breakfasts, picnic lunches, Sunday roasts, finger food and festive treats.
I have a lot of experience of catering for people with food intolerances and allergies, and as a nutritional chef, I can conjure up meals to suit most diets.

Availability

Since devoting more time to health coaching and hosting wellness retreats, I only make food to sell a couple of times a month. I do sometimes have availability to cater for events such as private parties and yoga retreats, with there being a minimum fixed price of £500

Monthly Culinary Adventures at the Garden Cafe in Colchester

Usually on a monthly basis I produce a special menu which I cook and serve from my house in Colchester. Customers can buy food to eat in or take away. Pre-ordering food is advisable, and reserving a table is strongly recommended if you want to eat in.

During the summer, my tranquil back garden transforms into a garden cafe, with many different seating areas nestled amongst herb gardens, green houses, fruit trees, vegetables and planters. Occasionally there is musical entertainment or a late evening DJ.

There is no set day of the month, and the theme and format change regularly. If you would like to be kept informed of upcoming pop-ups, please subscribe to my newsletter. I also display a blackboard outside my house, with event information and menus.

Private Dining

A fine dining experience for small groups of foodies. Three to seven courses, fresh seasonal produce, organic drinks, creative menus and my personal service. I either cater at clients’ homes, or clients may hire my dining room for an event.

The Commons Café & Community Kitchen

Common Ground Colchester is a community co-operative which, as of October ‘23, has taken over the running of the kitchen and café at The Minories art gallery in Colchester. ‘The Commons Café & Community Kitchen’ was born, and now serves meals, snacks, teas, coffees and cakes. There are a number of founding members who open regular hours, plus guest chefs like myself, who cook at pop-up events in the evenings and weekends. I currently plan to host a taco night, and cook a Sunday Roast. If you’d like advance notice of my dates at The Commons, please subscribe to my newsletter.
